DEFINITION: It is an epoxy resin based, polyamine hardener, 3-component, solvent-free floor coat with high chemical and mechanical resistance.

QUALITIES: It is solvent free and easy to apply. While it adheres perfectly to the applied surface, it provides water impermeability and high resistance against chemicals. It has high stress and abrasion resistance. It creates a surface which is suitable for hygienic requirements, does not contain microbes and is easily cleaned.

APPLICATION AREA: It is used in cases where concrete is exposed to excessive loads, and especially abrasion forces, such as factories, assembly workshops, warehouses and aircraft hangars, and where the surface is desired to be protected against chemicals; such places where hygienic environment is required for cleaning and health such as hospitals and food facilities.

APPLICATION
Surface Preparation and Application: New concrete and cement plasters must be cured for at least 21 days. After the mortar residue etc. on the cured surface is removed by light sanding or brushing, Sembol Solvent Free Epoxy Transparent Primer is applied. Loose particles such as paint, dirt, dust on old concrete and cement plaster surfaces are removed by sandblasting, scraping or brushing. Oil and grease residues are cleaned with detergent water,and if neutralization is required, the surface is wiped with 3-4% hydrochloric acid or acetic solution and washed with water. Care should be taken to ensure that the floor is completely dry before priming. Sembol Epoxy Floor Coating is applied after at least 24 hours and at most 3 days after primer application.

Application: The first component is mixed with the second component for a minimum of 3 minutes until it becomes homogeneous. According to the desired thickness, the third component is added to the mixture in the appropriate amount and the last component is mixed for 3-4 minutes. The homogeneous mixture is spread with the help of tools (notched trowel) that will provide the desired thickness on the ground which was prepared. Air bubbles of the fresh coating which was spread on the surface are removed by the spiked roller. Thin coating can be applied by roller.

Thinner: It is ready to use, not thinned

Form of application: Notched trowel, spiked roller.

Curing time: Time to walk on it is 16 hours, Curing time is 8 days (Time to gain resistance to mechanical loads and chemicals)

Pot Life : 30 minutes (As the mixture amount and ambient temperature increase, the life of the mixture decreases.)

Coverage: 1.5-2 Kg / m² for 1 m2 area for each 1 mm thickness
