DEFINITION: It is an epoxy resin based, two component, zinc reinforced, solvent containing, glossy topcoat paint.

QUALITIES: It adheres well to all types of metal and concrete surfaces, has high resistance to friction, high chemical and mechanical resistance, and forms a hard film. The film surface is glossy and slippery. It is easy to clean, does not contain bacteria, does not dust and harm health. It is resistant to dilute acids, diluted and concentrated alkalis, cleaning detergents and disinfectants, vegetable, mineral and animal oils, sea water, diesel oil, gasoline, alcohol and many more solvents.

APPLICATION AREA: In order to protect concrete, cement, plaster and metal surfaces from atmospheric, chemical and mechanical factors, it is applied as topcoat paint after anticorrosive primers on refineries, petrochemical and other industrial establishments, wastewater, pharmaceutical and food industries, hospitals, all surfaces of boats and ships.

SURFACE PREPARATION AND APPLICATION
Metal Surfaces: Oil, dirt, rust, rolling peel, or old paint residue on metallic surfaces (such as iron or steel) should be removed by mechanical ways or by sandblasting until bright metal is obtained. Sand blasting is recommended for surface cleaning. The surface should be primed with Epoxy Primer (for Metals) within maximum 4 hours following this process. Painting the prepared surfaces should never be left to the next day. If the application must be postponed, the surface must be sandblasted and cleaned again before priming.
Concrete and Cement Surfaces: New concrete and cement plasters must be cured for at least 21 days. After the mortar residue etc. on the cured surface is removed by light sanding or brushing, Sembol Epoxy Primer (for Concrete)is applied. Loose particles such as paint, dirt, dust on old concrete and cement plaster surfaces are removed by sandblasting, scraping or brushing. Oil and grease residues are cleaned with detergent water,and if neutralization is required, the surface is wiped with 3-4% hydrochloric acid or acetic solution and washed with water. Care should be taken to ensure that the floor is completely dry before priming.

APPLICATION: A Component and B Component are mixed for 3 minutes with the help of a mixer so that they are homogeneous. After the mixture is rested for 5-10 minutes, application is started. The mixture in the box should be applied in a short time. Otherwise, the mixture will freeze. Therefore, it is necessary to do the mixture little by little. It can be applied by brush, roller and spraying. When applied by spraying, epoxy thinner is used for thinning. The thinned paint is applied in 2-3 layers with spray in the form of wet on wet. The environment should be thoroughly ventilated during the indoor paint applications.

FORM OF APPLICATION  : It is applied with short bristle brush, short haired roller or airless paint spray.

POT LIFE :  (Mixture life) 3-4 hours at 20 ºC. As the ambient temperature increases, the time becomes shorter.

DRYING TIME : Surface drying time is 2-4 hours, Full Drying time is 16-24 hours, Full Curing time is 7 days

TIME BETWEEN LAYERS : Minimum 24 hours

COVERAGE: 0,200-0,250 Kg./m²  in one layer

STORAGE: It is one (1) year in its unopened package under suitable storage conditions.
