DEFINITION : It is a styrene-acrylic emulsion based silicone-added, grainny and matt-looking textural exterior coating material.

QUALITIES: By using the strong properties of the styrene-acrylic binder and thanks to its silicone modification, it shows high resistance to surface pollution, moisture and water, and thanks to its micro-porous structure, it allows the surface it is applied to breathe. It adheres very well to the surfaces it is applied with its superior adherence power. Also, it is resistant to atmospheric conditions, sun rays, friction and impacts. It does not crack and shed in time, and it’s colors are not faded.

APPLICATION AREA : On the outer parts of the buildings; It is used on all kinds of substrate preparation, primed, exposed concrete, smooth or rough all kinds of plastered and mineral based surfaces. Also, it can be used for decorative and protective purposes on dirty, discolored emulsion based old painted surfaces.

APPLICATION
Surface Preparation and Application:
Dirt, dust and mold release agents on the surface to be newly coated should be removed by wiping, detergent or chemical washing. On glassy and shiny surfaces, a surface should be created by sanding on which the coating can hold. It definetely should not be applied to non-dry surfaces. When necessary, the raw walls are strengthened with exterior filling and repair materials, and Sembol Exterior Surface Putty is used for the repair of the capillary cracks and for stripping paste in that operation. After the sub-surface treatment is completed, 1 layer of Sembol Silicon Based Exterior Surface Primer is applied depending on the property of the surface. On old painted surfaces, Sembol Insulating Primer should be used by thinning at the rate of 1/6. After the primer application, Sembol Silicone Grainy Exterior Surface Coating is applied in a single layer with the suitable roller according to the desired pattern.

• Thinning Rate : It is ready to use but it can be thinned up to 5% depending on the pattern.

• Drying Time: It dries in 4-5 hours and hardens in 24 hours.

• Application: 6 hours after the primer application, on all kinds of clean and dry surfaces that have been already prepared for the sub-surface, the Sembol Silicone Grainy Exterior Surface Coating is applied on the surface to be applied in an equal amount per unit area by applying a pattern with a suitable roller.
