DEFINITION: Styrene-acrylic based, silicone modified exterior surface paint.

QUALITIES: The styrene-acrylic binder is modified with silicone to make it highly water-repellent and water vapor permeable. With its vapor permeability capability, it ensures that moisture on the wall is thrown out, preventing swelling and spillage, which is the biggest problem of exterior surface paints. High covering, non-fading and environmental friendliness are it’s important features. It is resistant to atmospheric conditions, pollution, sun rays, friction and impacts. Due to its high alkali resistance, it shows excellent adhesion for new and old surfaces with it’s suitable primer. It is easy to apply due to its spreading feature. It saves time and labor, does not splash and drip while using.

APPLICATION AREA: It can be applied as a top coat paint on mineral surfaces that sub-ground prepared with such as satin plaster, putty and primer, on new and smooth interior walls and ceilings, on old emulsion based painted interior surfaces that have discolored and optionally for protective and decorative purposes on interior walls.

APPLICATION 
Surface Preparation and Application: Dirt, dust and mold release agents on the surface to be newly coated should be removed by wiping, detergent or chemical washing. On glassy and shiny surfaces, a surface should be created by sanding on which the coating can hold. It definetely should not be applied to non-dry surfaces. When necessary, the raw walls are strengthened with exterior filling and repair materials, and Sembol Exterior Surface Putty is used for the repair of the capillary cracks and for stripping paste in that operation. After the sub-surface treatment is completed, 1 layer of Sembol Silicon Based Exterior Surface Primer is applied depending on the property of the surface. On old painted surfaces, Sembol Insulating Primer should be used by thinning at the rate of 1/6.

•    Drying Time: It dries in 1-2 hours and hardens in 24 hours.
•    Time Betweem Layers: Minimum 12 hours
•    Coverage: 10-12 m2 / lt or 6-8 m2/kg  in one layer depending on the surface
•    Recommended Primers: Sembol Silicon Based Exterior Surface Primer, Sembol Insulating Primer 
•    Application:  On substrate preparation executed and primed surfaces, after 12 hours of priming, thinned and mixed homogeneous Sembol Silicone Exterior Surface Paint should be applied in 2 layers by roller or brush.
