Definition: It is a two-component cold applied road marking paint with a methylated methacrylate based acrylic resin, that has high coverage, non color changing over time, good adherence to the surfaces, resistance for abrasion and friction and high UV resistance.
Application Area: It is used on all kinds of urban and intercity highways, pedestrian crossings, airports and et cetera, also on asphalt and concrete surfaces, especially on pedestrian crossings, stop and speed break lines where traffic safety is important. With its 2-4 mm application film thickness, it provides good performance and strength in very heavy traffic and pedestrian circulation. It enables pedestrian and vehicle traffic flows with its fast drying feature. It creates different images with different application types such as spreading, laying and profiling.
Application: Surfaces to be applied should be removed from blistered and loose textured layers and free powder. Dust, dirt and oil on the surface should be cleaned. The application surface must be absolutely dry. Never apply on damp or wet surfaces. The first component and the second component of the Sembol Two Component MMA Road Mark Paint are mixed homogeneously with the help of a drill. The paint that has entered it’s reaction is applied in 1 layer with a roller, steel trowel or special application apparatus and tools, without drying in a maximum of 7 minutes. If desired ,in order to ensure night visibility, glass beads can be sprinkled on the surface of the paint homogeneously before drying.

• Issues to be Considered During Application
→ Before use, the first component paint should be mixed until it becomes homogeneous in the box.
→ Second Component hardener product is added at the rate of 4-5 gr for 1 kg.
→ The prepared and reacted mixture should be used without drying within maximum 7 minutes.
→ Surface problems may occur in applications performed in environments below + 5ºC and above +35ºC.
→ Application surfaces should be dry and clean.
→ Application should be done according to the stated Application specifications.
→ Not thinned, it is ready to use.
